Medilyzer for Android and iPhone

Medical professionals who are currently using Android smartphones are looking for medical apps. I'm sure that many Android users have played around with different barcode scanning apps. Those are quite innovative, aren't they? You can save a lot of money by using the Android barcode scanner when you're shopping.

Well, here's an app that utilizes your smartphone camera and barcode scanner. It's primarily for consumers, but it could also be useful for health care professionals and it's called Medilyzer.
The Medilyzer Android Application gives consumers life-saving information using an easy-to-use interface that brings a new level of functionality to smart phones.
A mobile user first snaps a picture of the barcode(s) of the medication and the software retrieves the necessary information from the MediLyzer™ central server.
Using only the phone’s built in camera and any OTC product barcode, the application quickly and accurately relays drug information, potential OTC side effects, and dosage instructions.
If you have an iPhone, you won't get the barcode scanning functionality, but maybe that will come in the future.
