Happtique

Happtique is the first mobile application store developed by healthcare professionals for healthcare professionals. Happtique offers healthcare enterprises—like hospitals, continuing care facilities, and physician practices—the ability to create individually branded, secure substores that support employee and patient mobile technology use.

Founded in 2010, Happtique is powered by AppCentral™, a mobile application management company.

Happtique was born from two ideas.

First, healthcare is a highly specialized industry that demands a dedicated mobile health source. Healthcare providers shouldn’t have to search through thousands of applications in a generic store to find the mobile health (mhealth) apps they need. That’s why Happtique uses a healthcare app (hApp) indexing method designed to be intuitive to industry professionals.

Second, as an increasing number of clinicians are incorporating mobile technology into their practices, the healthcare industry needs an mhealth enterprise solution. Happtique offers healthcare enterprises—like hospitals, continuing care facilities, and physician practices—the ability to create individually branded, secure substores that support employee and patient mobile technology use.
