Palm OS was the dominant operating system among medical students and physicians. I'm talking about the days before the ubiquitous
Palm Treo even came out. We had devices running the Palm OS made by Palm, Handspring, Sony, and a few other companies. They were called
PDAs or handhelds because they weren't phones at the time. How
technology has changed things! We now have one less item to carry in our pocket.
