TORONTO – Dec. 17, 2012 – Diversinet Corp. The newly formalized agreement enables AirStrip customers in the military, government and commercial sectors to comply with rigorous federal security requirements. Diversinet’s encryption technology recently was validated under Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2.

The mobiSecure SDK makes it easy for healthcare organizations to develop HIPAA-compliant solutions with military-grade security for all consumer smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. In addition to the FIPS 140-2 validation, recent enhancements to the SDK improve the speed of deployment for enterprise-wide mobile health solutions.

Areas of specific interest range from personal wellness to disease management.

I attended a session titled, "Improving Patient Safety through Remote Monitoring." The presenter was Layne Haney, Senior VP of AirStrip Technologies. Physicians want real time and history remote access to critical patient data on their mobile devices. This is especially true in the intensive care and critical care setting where clinicians want to see the waveforms, EKGs, alerts/alarms, etc.
