Google's Blogger - new mobile template feature

Google's Blogger is now offering a new feature (still in beta) called "Mobile Template." In short, this feature allows you to automatically format your blog for mobile web browsers.

This feature was enabled a week or so ago, but then the feature somehow disappeared. Now, I see it again (and I hope it's here to stay). I've enabled this on all these sites:
http://www.NonClinicalJobs.com
http://www.MedicineandTechnology.com
http://www.MedicalSmartphones.com
http://www.MobileHealthComputing.com
The mobile template feature doesn't appear to work on every mobile web browser, but it works fine on most major mobile browsers.

How to Write a Smartphone App Review

This is a guest post by Greg Friese, MS, NREMT-P. If you're interested in submitting a guest post, please contact me.

How to Write an App Review

Amazon book and product reviews have changed the way I shop. Instead of reading the publishers description I immediately scroll to reviews from other shoppers. I read the five and one star comments to learn the best and the worst about a product. Since smartphone apps require time to select, download, install, and learn a well written review helps me decide if an app is worth my time and effort which is often secondary to the negligible price of the app.

A smartphone app review is a good topic for your own blog or to submit as a guest post to blogs in your niche. Reviews tell readers about the apps you find useful. This is the format I use and recommend for organizing an app review:

Defining PPC

If you're a blogger generating income from your ads, then PPC will mean "pay per click."

However, if you've been a Windows Mobile PDA user for many years, then PPC will mean Pocket PC. Microsoft has a funny way of renaming their operating systems. They can't seem to make up their mind about nomenclature. Windows CE evolved to Pocket PC which then turned into Windows Mobile and now we'll have Windows Phone (what about those PDAs that aren't smartphones?).

MobileBlogger for Windows Mobile

Do you blog when you're on the go? Many people are embracing microblogging these days. Twitter and other sites are becoming increasingly popular. Well, if you want to use your PDA/smartphone to blog when you're on the go, then try MobileBlogger. This application works on Windows Mobile devices (soon to be called the Windows Phone if you have a smartphone). I just can't type very fast on my mobile device (which is a Verizon XV 6800), so I prefer using my Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC, my OQO model 02, or my Lenovo Thinkpad X200 Tablet. What about you? Do you blog on the go?
